to amend Panama’s shark finning law.
This bill aims to fill the legal gaps that continue to allow the practice of
shark finning in Panamanian waters, and to extend the shark finning prohibition
to Panamanian-flagged fishing ships in the high seas
and other areas beyond national jurisdiction
